NFL QUARTERBACK CHRIS SIMMS FACING NY MARIJUANA TRIAL

The trial of former Denver Broncos quarterback Chris Simms, currently the backup quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, for driving while high on marijuana begins in New York today. Simms, the son of former New York Giants quarterback and current broadcaster Phil Simms, was stopped last July at a sobriety checkpoint.

Arresting officers alleged that Simms was “zombie-like” and admitted to using marijuana, a claim that Simms denies.
